Full steam ahead

As we all optimistically enter March, and the days are once again becoming longer, we can start to really imagine the start of the race season once again. At the workshop, work is now well underway in preparation for the 2022 season and we will be hoping to make an impact on our home and local circuit in the opening rounds at Brands Hatch.

We are currently working on the design of the new livery, we intend to make it fun this year, but you will have to wait for the start of the season before this is unveiled. This part of pre-season is quite exciting and in terms of livery, we can effectively start with a blank canvas every year.

Development of the engine, ecu and dash are still ongoing as one would expect, and probably will be until quite close until that first weekend at Brands, but let’s just say, that we intend to get as much out of the engine as it will give.

We will still be working on the environmental impact of motorsport, and are really proud to be able to continue our work with Green Biofuels and Premier Diagnostics to ensure that emissions are kept to the minimum.

For 2022 we also welcome back our loyal partners who will be supporting our battle for the championship this year:

• RSM Driver Training
• Green Biofuels
• MAHA
• Midland Caliper Centre
• Thompson Bodies
• Motul/Witham Oils
• Mark Luck Ltd

2022 will see 7 events across famous and familiar circuits in the UK and spectators can delight in the on track action, trucks shows, demonstrations, entertainment and even an end of season firework display (though we can’t think quite that far ahead just yet). If you are unable to attend any of the events, all the action can be found streaming live on the BARC website.

Also, don’t forget to look out for competitions to win tickets to events in the Commercial Vehicle Workshop Magazine in conjunction with MAHA.

If your business is still contemplating PR and Advertising opportunities for 2022, there is still space available for branded company logos on the race truck if anyone wishes promote their business. Please contact us for further information; info@jptruckracing.co.uk.

You can keep up to date on competitions, how we are doing in the championship and what JP Truck Racing is up to here on our website. Keep your fingers crossed for us for 2022…John has already dug out his lucky socks.
