Our Story…
The Powell family name is well established in the truck racing community with over 25 years experience. John Powell Snr. was a pioneer for the sport in the 1980’s, racing alongside such names as Steve Parish, Rod Chapman and Barry Sheen. Now his sons are following in his footsteps and playing a huge role in the world of truck racing.
ANNOUNCEMENT
The 2026 season gets under way at Brands Hatch, where JP Racing will launch its new DAF XD in Division 2. With seven rounds ahead, the aim is to have a strong year and challenge for the title again, with John Powell bringing 13 years of experience to the seat.
JP Racing goes into the new season with support from RSM Driver Training, Greenhous Group, Adams Morey and it’s valued partners. It is a new truck, a new season and a fresh chance for the team to get back out on track and compete at the front.
