JP Racing and the Cummins X12.

Engine Swap

JP Racing has made the decision to swap the much loved Cummins M11 engine for the new and improved Cummins X12.

The Cummins X12 is designed to increases performance, reliability, fuel efficiency and torque and offers a range up to 500hp in a light weight package.

It has been built to deliver powerful performance, minimising engineering. A sculptured block retains high rigidity while removing unnecessary mass.  The use of composite materials provides a further weight saving. The engine weighs in at just 1,900 lb yet retains all the strength and durability expected of a Cummins Heavy Duty engine.

We cannot wait to see how it does in the Championship.
